Dermal Fillers
Juvéderm™ provides an instant solution for lines, wrinkles, lip enhancement and facial contouring, to which reduce the signs of ageing and enhance facial features.

The treatments are gradually absorbed over time, so whenever you see the need for improvement you can have further treatments to maintain or improve your youthful new look. With Juvéderm™, you can have a treatment for a special event and then later choose to have “top-up” treatments to maintain the effect. The time it takes for Juvederm™ to break down will vary from person to person.

The Juvéderm™ Vycross range has been specifically designed to incorporate different strengths and weights to address the varied areas of the face: Voluma™ creates visible lift to the cheeks, Volux™ provide excellent jawline definition and reshapes the chin, Volift™ is a medium weight filler used to soften lines, whilst Volbella™ is lighter and gives a soft enhancement to the lip area. We also use products from the Juvéderm™ Ultra range.

The Treatment of Lines & Wrinkles
Consultations for the Treatment of Lines & Wrinkles

*kindly note that the following information is provided as a reference only.

Botulinum Toxin (Botox®) is a natural protein which relaxes and softens lines and wrinkles, mainly in the upper third of the face.

Small injections are made into the specific muscles of the face that create wrinkles. This reduces the muscular activity and therefore softens the skin’s creasing. Botox® treatments generally become effective within 3–14 days. Some patients may need or require a treatment with filler also for best results.

Before any Botox® treatment is administered, patients will be required to undergo a full medical consultation with one of our nurses. This consultation is an essential part of the treatment process during which all treatment options and alternatives, risks and complications will be discussed. Your informed consent is a principal concern.

Botox® is a Prescription Only Medication and as such, treatments should only be administered by a qualified medical professional. All Cheshire Image Clinic nurses provide Botox® treatments and they all possess a validation certificate from the manufacturers of Botox® – Allergan. Our nurses are all registered nurse independent prescribers.

Profhilo®
Profhilo® is an injectable hyaluronic acid based product, designed to boost and hydrate the skin as well remodel ageing and sagging tissue.

This unique bio-remodelling treatment tightens and brightens skin. Profhilo® works by nourishing cells to restores skin hydration and firmness. It also stimulates the natural production of collagen and elastin and provides natural looking results that are suitable for almost every skin type.

It can be used on all areas of the face, including the eye area.

The treatment is carried out in 2 sessions, 4 weeks apart.

Minor Surgery
All Cheshire Image Clinic nurses are qualified to remove cysts, warts, moles, and polyps and these treatments routinely include the taking of a sample for histology.

Patients who undergo removal of problem “lumps and bumps” tell us how the procedure has enhanced their life, due to the fact that their confidence is boosted, and choice of clothing is no longer governed by unsightly or uncomfortable skin lesions.

As with all our procedures, review is an important part of your treatment and we encourage follow-up appointments.

Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is an effective medical technique that is used to eliminate thread veins.

The treatment involves small precise injections into the tiny thread veins. This closes the blood vessel which is then absorbed by the body over a period of time and following a number of treatments.

The nurse will inform the patient of the approximate number of treatments required for the individual needs.
