International Women’s Day is all about celebrating, supporting and empowering women and this year, Sue Shields Spa was delighted to be part of a very special event hosted by Porsche Centre South Lakes.
On the morning of 14th March 2026, the Porsche showroom in Carnforth transformed into a calm and uplifting wellness space, bringing together local women for a refreshing start to the day.
Bringing the Spa Experience to Porsche
Amongst other activities and wellness events held at the Porsche garage that day, Sue Shields Spa created a mini spa style set up within the Porsche showroom so guests could enjoy a moment of relaxation.
Guests were treated to complimentary Neom Magnesium hand and arm massages, designed to soothe tired muscles, promote relaxation and leave skin feeling beautifully nourished.
Alongside this, we also demonstrated a Bubble & Rock pressure point massage, a unique technique that combines soothing warmth with targeted pressure to help release tension and encourage deep relaxation.
These treatments showcased some of the luxurious products used at the spa, including wellness favourites from NEOM Organics London and the skincare experts at Elemis.
A Perfect Partnership
The event was designed to create a holistic wellness morning, bringing together businesses that share similar values such as quality, professionalism and supporting women.
For Sue Shields Spa, it was a wonderful opportunity to connect with local women, introduce them to the spa’s treatments and highlight the importance of taking time for self care and wellbeing.
The elegant setting of the Porsche showroom provided a unique backdrop for the event, blending luxury with relaxation and creating a memorable experience for everyone involved.
